Lost your Teamer team?

Teamer closed on Monday 5 October 2026. If your weekly game or club ran on it, you can set it up again on Squadable for free and have your players back in from your group chat.

What happened to Teamer

Teamer is part of the Pitchero Group. On 5 August 2026 it emailed users to say the platform would close on Monday 5 October 2026. Its help centre says there are no export tools, so a team's events and member lists can't be moved to another system. Teamer users were offered a discount code to move to Pitchero.

Pitchero is a full club platform with websites and membership admin, and that offer may suit a larger club. If what you need is a simple way to run sessions, see who is playing and collect the money, Squadable is built for that.

Set up on Squadable in five steps

  1. Create a free account on the web or in the iPhone or Android app.
  2. Create a group or a club. A group suits one regular game. A club suits several teams or groups with a shared membership.
  3. Share your invite link or join code in the team's WhatsApp or wherever your players already talk.
  4. Players join as themselves. Each player signs in with their own email address, so there is no list to type in and nobody's details are entered for them. Parents can add their children as dependants.
  5. Add your sessions. Set up a one-off game or a weekly series, and players say whether they're in.

What you get

Get your team going again

Squadable is free for organisers. If you collect match fees by card, players pay a small service fee on top of your price.

Questions

Can I import my Teamer data into Squadable?

No. Teamer's own help centre says there are no export tools for a team's events and member lists, so there is nothing to import. Players join your Squadable group or club themselves from your invite link.

Is Squadable free?

Squadable is free for organisers. Creating clubs, groups and sessions costs nothing. If you collect match fees by card, players pay a small service fee on top of your price.

Do my players need the app?

No. Squadable works in any web browser, and there are free apps for iPhone and Android for anyone who prefers them.

Can parents sign up their children?

Yes. A parent can add their children as dependants on their own account and say whether each one is available.

What if some players pay in cash?

You can accept cash on a session as well as card, and mark players as paid, so one list shows who has paid however the money arrived.

Teamer details are from Teamer's shutdown FAQs, checked October 2026. Teamer and Pitchero are trade marks of their owners and are not connected with Squadable.
